Express offers its associates a comprehensive Independent Individual Health, Vision, and Dental Plan.

As a resident of Canada being covered by a provincial health program, you are eligible immediately and effective dates are based on the date of the application. You may cover yourself and your family through this plan. Associates can continue this plan after termination from Express.


Premiums for the plan are quite reasonable and monthly payments are easily administered using automatic withdrawals from your chequing or credit card accounts.


You can qualify for a 50% reimbursement of your insurance premiums of up to $50 per month from Express when you have worked as an Express associate 390 or more hours (excluding overtime) during a period of 13 consecutive weeks, Continuation of reimbursement by Express requires 120 hours in the previous four consecutive weeks.


The basic medical plans, A and B, cover dental, accidental death and dismemberment, travel insurance, vision care, hearing aids, home care, specialists, orthopaedics, prosthetics, medical equipment and supplies, private duty nursing, assistive devices, accidental dental, and ambulance.


The option plans range from covering prescription drugs, preferred hospital, and travel health, to hospital cash, depending on the options you choose.
