On behalf of our client in St Thomas, ON, we are currently recruiting for a full time
Bookkeeper on an evaluation hire basis.

Duties (may include and not limited to)

  • All accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, aging reports
  • Complete payroll for up to 25 people including remittances and allocating hours to specific jobs
  • Update and track job costing
  • Create all ROEs, T4s, and T5018s
  • Complete monthly accounting cycle including month end entries and allocations
  • Other duties as assigned


  • College Diploma, Certificate or University Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years  of experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
  • Experience working with QuickBooks accounting software preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and comprehensive communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team atmosphere

Compensation $18.00-20.00 per hour

Hours Monday to Friday, daytime hours
